Small changes on product pages can have a large effect on revenue. These are the improvements we test first.

Product pages are where buying decisions are made, so they are usually the best place to start conversion work.

First, show delivery times and returns information near the Add to Basket button. Uncertainty about delivery is one of the most common reasons shoppers leave. Second, make sure the first image clearly shows the product, and include at least one image that shows scale.

Third, move reviews higher up the page and summarise the overall rating. Fourth, write descriptions that answer real customer questions rather than repeating features. Fifth, simplify variant selection so shoppers can see stock and price for each option.

Finally, check the page on a mid-range mobile phone. Most traffic is mobile, and a page that feels slow or cramped will lose sales no matter how good the product is.
